Welcome to 4-8designs.com!

A one-stop shop for all your print design and retouching necessities, providing a high quality product within a friendly environment, fast service and reasonable prices.

What makes these services different from the rest?

Well, for one thing you are dealing with only one designer and not a company that will give you the runaround and utilize multiple designers on your project. When you contact me, you get me directly and I will do everything in my power to accommodate your needs.

I also stand firm behind my product, I let my previous work and satisfied customers do the talking for me, I provide a unique mix of experience, creativity and technical know-how to get the job done efficiently and professionally.

I use the latest tools and software products to utilize my skills. Most of my logo and stationery design is done in Adobe Illustrator CS3 and my image editing in Photoshop CS3. As you will see in my samples, I prefer a modern, abstract and stylized approach when it comes to logo design, I don’t create cartoon characters or use clip art in my designs, I use lighting, reflections and shadow effects to create a visually pleasing product or a more traditional corporate style for a conservative clientele. Your designs really are created on a case by case basis.

For my retouching I have a wide range of methods, again, depending on client preference - either a more subtle approach keeping skin texture intact for a more natural look, or highly airbrushed look for glamour and beauty sites and publications.

The tip of the iceberg is my rates and fee schedule. Payment is not made up front. Half is made upon agreeing on a concept with the client and the balance upon completion of revisions, so it’s basically a win-win situation.

Please feel free to explore the site, take a look at my samples, read my client testimonials and contact me for rates. If you like what you see please don’t hesitate to contact me so we can get started on your project.

Hope to hear from you...

Yours Truly,

Roman Faiman
